Dr. Maria C. Ramos is President of Ramos Associates, a training and consulting firm. She brings to her practice a broad range of experience in organizational development, executive coaching, training of trainers, career development and valuing diversity. Dr. Ramos has worked in the private and public sectors for a variety of organizations such as: The DuPont Company, FMC Corporation, First Card, First Chicago NBD, CIGNA, Digital Equipment Company, Yale University and Princeton University. Her work has taken her to Kenya, Canada, England, Belgium, Greece, Japan, Spain, Brazil, and the Philippines.
A frequent speaker at conferences and seminars, Dr. Ramos is noted for her insight and candor. She has presented at the University of Michigan on Cross-Cultural Mentoring; at ASTD on Handling Employee Resistance in Development Programs; at the McBer Company on Managing Employee Development in a Severe Cost Containment Environment; and at many other engagements.
Formerly, the Director of Management Development and Training at CIGNA Corporation, she was responsible for strategic planning for human resource development, curriculum development, marketing and delivery of training and consulting services. She was also a consultant with Yale University’s Training and Consultation Division of the Department of Psychiatry, School of Medicine.
